Ancillary Insurance
Ancillary benefits are a secondary type of coverage in addition to group health insurance. These coverages can be group life, disability, dental and vision.
Group Life
This is typically a free benefit offered by the employer. It is usually a set amount for everyone.
Voluntary Life
This is an optional benefit that employees can purchase at a reduced price. The amount(s) can vary based on employee needs.
Group Disability
- Short Term Disability
- Provides a source of income should an employee experience a short-term illness or injury. This is typically for 13 or 26-week durations.
- Long Term Disability
- Provides a source of income should an employee experience a long-term illness or injury. This is typically offered for 1 year and longer durations. Some plans will offer income replacement out to the age of 65.
Group Dental
Dental insurance provides benefits that can help lower the costs of dental treatment. Not all dental plans are the same. We can help you decide on which plan fits your company the best.
Group Vision
Vision care insurance will most often cover routine eye care exams, contact lenses, eyeglass frames, and lenses.
